Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a territory
  • Making cold calls to develop new business and servicing existing customers
  • Ensure profitability of accounts within an assigned territory through proper pricing and contract management
  • Assistance with collection of past due accounts receivables, and good use of service time

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Reporting any accounts in jeopardy, and ensuring accounts are in administrative good standing
  • Compose clear, concise, and accurate letters and proposals to customers
  • Conduct annual business review, and effectively manage time and budget or expense parameters
  • Assist in training of new sales and service people as assigned

Qualifications include:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering/Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Commercial or
  • Industrial sales experience
  • Successful track record meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Prior sales experience with water treatment specialty chemicals or equipment is preferred, but not required
  • Strong relationship management skills and consultative selling approach
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
